Hi Bay Boosters!
We hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving and holiday break. Now it’s time to change course to Christmas and set our sites on the North Pole and our favorite holiday fundraiser, Dinner with Santa!
A flier was sent home in home in backpacks just before the break outlining EVERYTHING that is going on during the event and all of the exciting changes happening this year. In case you missed it, the highlights are listed here and all of the details can be found in the attachment or by clicking here.
Dinner with Santa is Thursday, December 10th from 4 – 7 p.m. The event will host various activities throughout the school campus this year. Each activity is included in your ticket price, with the exception of the Silent Auction.
In the Cafeteria:
The cafeteria will be transformed into The Polar Express Station where students, their families, and guests can eat dinner and listen to each grade sing carols. Reservation Forms to purchase tickets for the evening will go out in backpacks Monday (11/30) and Tuesday (12/1) and are due back on Friday 12/4.
Student caroling will take place on the stage as guests dine. The student caroling schedule is below:
4 p.m. – Santa Arrives!
4:10 – Dinner Service Begins
4:30 – 4th Grade sings on stage
5:00 – 1st Grade sings on stage
5:30 – Kindergarten sings on stage
6:00 – 2nd Grade sings on stage
6:30 – 3rd Grade sings on stage
In the Gym:
The Gym will transform into the North Pole just as the actual Polar Express arrives! Santa will be there, ready in his sleigh, for a picture and a visit from every child. Our Silent Auction will be hosted in the gym as well. TheSilent Auction consists of Classroom Themed Baskets and also items for auction from local businesses and friends and families of the Bay Elementary.
The Classroom Themed Baskets are made from toys donated by you and other parents in your child’s classroom. The unwrapped items are arranged in a basket for bidding. These make great gifts! In addition to our Classroom Themed baskets, we will be auctioning various business items as well! If you are interested in making a donation for auction from your business or from your family, please contact Lauren Justiss email@example.com
In the Breezeway:
Candy Cane Lane will lead you from The Polar Express Station to The North Pole. Hot chocolate will be provided by Amavida! This portion of the event is powered by donated sweet treats. Please have your creative confection on the stage by 12 p.m. on the event day, Dec. 10th. To volunteer, please contact Brett Nunn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As you can see there are a number of opportunities to volunteer. We will have a sign-up site ready in just a few days, but for now, please email Lindsey Harp LRHarp1@gmail.com with your area of interest! Decorations, Food Service, Set-up, Silent Auction, Candy Cane Lane all need willing parents! If your high-schooler needs community service hours, we can help – Just email us!
If you have any decorations that you are not using this year, please let us! You can lend or give – just email Grace Scruggs, email@example.com or leave them on the stage.

Funds raised at Dinner with Santa will continue our goal of updating the entire school’s technology devices and overall technology needs.
